BAM Clough
The BAM Clough joint venture’s scope includes technical support and constructability input during Front-End Engineering Design works for the Ship Lift and Marine Industries Project in Darwin, Northern Territory.
The Ship Lift and Marine Industries project represents an AU$100 million investment by the Northern Territory Government into major projects that will boost the local economy. The proposed project will include a ship lift facility for lifting vessels from the water for dry docking and maintenance works, and a common user area, being a hardstand area, available for ship repair and maintenance works.
The project will have the capacity to lift vessels more than 90 meters in length, including the Australian Defence Forces’ new offshore patrol vessel fleet.

Arrow Energy
Surat and Bowen Basin, Queensland, Australia
Clough AMEC was contracted by Arrow Energy to provide Pre-FEED and FEED for the full upstream CSG to LNG development. This includes two separate field developments (approx. 10000 wellheads), the gathering networks, field compression and central compression and processing facilities, associated pipelines, buildings, road infrastructure improvements, sumps, ponds and dams and associated civil works, communications, power supply, and accommodation villages.
The work was completed successfully LTI free with implementation of initiatives to reduce Total Installed Costs (TIC).
Clough engineers, constructs, commissions and maintains critical facilities for the Resources, Energy, and Infrastructure industries.

Rio Tinto
Wickham, Pilbara, Western Australia, Australia
Clough were contracted by Rio Tinto to complete FEED, detailed design & procurement support for the Cape Lambert Power Station near Wickham in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. In parallel Clough conducted a concept analysis evaluating the most economic method for staging power output to match the forecast demand curve.
Scope includes: site establishment, earthworks including powerstation pad and roadworks, access road, abutments, sedimentation pond, evaporation pond and embankments, access road, Site drainage, installation of two GTG Packages steam cycle equipment, including one ACC, one STG Unit and all BOP, design and installation of a sewage treatment plant in accordance with specifications and datasheets

Origin Energy
Chinchilla, Queensland, Australia
Clough provided project management and engineering for a replacement pump and pipe work within the existing Talinga Gas Treatment Facility, as part of the Australian Pacific LNG (APLNG) project. The Gas Field is located in the Talinga Development, approximately 50 km from Dalby in Queensland.
The five concepts studied in the SELECT phase included the brownfield integration of a new pump and pipe work upgrade associated with the twelve existing compressors. A cost and schedule estimate, along with the project execution plans, was also developed. Work was executed by a team in Clough’s Brisbane Engineering office.
APLNG is a coal seam gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) project joint venture partnership between Origin, ConocoPhillips and Sinopec.

Arrow Energy

Clough AMEC
The Daandine Expansion project requires modifications to existing infrastructure and installation of new infrastructure to produce an additional 50 TJ/day of sales gas. The key objectives are to implement the project in the most cost effective manner with the shortest possible duration, minimise disruptions to operations of existing facilities and in full compliance with the technical, operational and HSE requirements. Clough provided engineering services for the Concept SELECT stage and FEED DEFINE stage for the existing field compression station, including a HP pipeline off-take connection to a third party in Queensland.
The Clough AMEC Joint Venture was awarded an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) contract for Arrow Energy’s Daandine Expansion Project. The contract included the expansion of the existing central gas processing facility with three new reciprocating, gas-driven compressors and associated process and utility plant, increasing the current number of wells in the Daandine gas field by 22.
