Engineering, Procurement and Construction necessary to install facilities and equipment for a new ethylene storage and dehydration system. The new facility will be located within Enterprise’s existing Splitter III/East Storage facility.
The project will be designed and constructed with a design capacity of 491,000 lbs/hr of ethylene to be put into and taken out of Well #5. Well #5 is a 5,000,000 bbl underground storage cavern that will be utilized to store ethylene. The project consist of pipeline connections from 3 different sources within East Storage. Each pipeline connects into the project infrastructure to get ethylene into Well # 5. The project scope also includes infrastructure to pump ethylene out of Well #5 and export to 4 pipelines. The new infrastructure includes a dehydration unit for drying of the ethylene coming out of Well #5. It also includes heaters, pumps, custody transfer meters, PLC’s, MCC buildings, transformers and flare as part of project scope. Scope of work starts at pipeline connections and ends at first wing valve off of Well #5.
