The Clough Foundation is pleased to announce it has renewed its partnership with the Clontarf Foundation. Whilst this partnership has national application, the relationship with academies on a local level will be focused on Clontarf’s Academies in Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory and Western Australia. 

Clough CEO and Managing Director and Clough Foundation Director, Peter Bennett said: “Since 2014, The Clough Foundation and Clontarf Foundation have been working together and we are proud to say that our continued support brings education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects to young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men around Australia.”  

Clough Foundation Chair, Rechelle Hawkes OAM said:” The Clough Foundation and Clough are committed in its ongoing partnership with the Clontarf Foundation to assist in empowering and supporting Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to reach their full potential.  

Clontarf Foundation CEO, Gerard Neesham said: “It is integral to the future growth of our Foundation that long term partners such as the Clough Foundation continue to support our program across the country. This year we have surpassed the 10,000-participant mark and this significant milestone could not have been achieved without our great friends, supporters and partners like the Clough Foundation.”    

The Clontarf Foundation operates 138 academies in WA, NT, Qld, NSW, Vic and SA, and supports over 10,000 young men including 935 year 12 students. 

Using supportive relationships, a welcoming environment and a diverse range of activities, the young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men that participate in the Clontarf program develop improved self-esteem and confidence which assists them to participate in education, employment and society in a positive way.
