Clough is proud to announce it has renewed its collaboration with Orana House as part of its ongoing commitment to ending family and domestic violence (FDV) in the community.

As part of this collaboration, Orana House will work with Clough, e2o and Webuild in Australia through ongoing advice to execute a comprehensive FDV strategy and best assist their staff at risk. Orana House will also conduct education workshops to ensure line managers, supervisors, and employees have the knowledge and skills to respond suitably to team members in need.

Peter Bennett, Clough CEO, said: “Family and domestic violence is a serious issue that could affect anyone in our community. In addition to its direct service delivery, Orana House plays an active role in community education to influence a broader understanding of family and domestic violence. With their expertise, we will continue to equip our employees with the tools to support their own well-being to live and work safely without the threat of violence, and the knowledge and skills to support other team members who may be in need.”

Clough has been a Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation holder since 2019 and is committed to supporting employee well-being, to cascade positive change to the communities around us.

Jasmyn Hutin, External Relation Orana House, said: “Embarking on a collaboration with Clough was a significant milestone for Orana House in 2023 and we’re immensely proud of the outcomes. We know that turning the tide on FDV requires long-term commitment and engagement from all levels. Once again, Clough has shown great leadership in this space, by renewing this successful initiative”.

As part of the development of this FDV Support Program, and in addition to the education and awareness component, Clough will provide emergency support, paid FDV leave, flexible arrangements, and a range of additional holistic supports when employees require them.

Clough’s contribution will go directly towards funding holistic support services at Orana House SWitCH Centre, including outreach, court support, risk assessment and safety planning, as well as counselling, therapeutic group programs and a dedicated Child Advocate.
