The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world. 

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.

Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for a Cleaner on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The project is working a 14:7 roster, 10 hour shifts which may include days/nights rotating.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Working as key member in our housekeeping/Peggy team 
• Ensuring guests at our village's return to rooms with clean crisp sheets, a tidy room, freshly laundered towels and a clean shower that can wash away the grit of a hard day’s work
• Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
• Housekeeping/cleaning experience
• Be flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required
• Time Management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Physically fit and able to stand on their feet for up to 10 hours per day
• cleaning of amenities, office buildings, crib huts
• assisting with moving stock and parts around site

Housekeeping is not just about changing linen, cleaning bathrooms and restocking toiletries. It’s about creating an environment that allows our residents and guests to relax, rejuvenate and re-energise.

You must currently hold the following tickets/licences:

• Drivers licence advantageous
• High Risk Work Licence – LF highly regarded
• General Construction Induction training (white card)
• Right to work in Australia
• Be able to pass medical and a criminal history check
• Current Hep A & B immunisation
