The Project – Perth Women and Babies Hospital

Webuild is delivering the design and construction of the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia.

This landmark project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital, expanding services and choice for women, newborns and families while delivering long-lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia.

About the Opportunity

As the Perth Women and Babies Hospital project continues to progress, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced FF&E and MM&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment and Major Medical Equipment) Delivery Coordinators interested in joining one of Western Australia's most significant healthcare infrastructure projects.

We are building a talent pipeline for current and future opportunities supporting the planning, procurement, logistics, installation, commissioning and handover of complex FF&E and MM&E packages across the project.

Working closely with project teams, contractors, suppliers, equipment vendors, consultants, clinical stakeholders and end users, these roles will coordinate the procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning and handover of FF&E and MM&E packages, ensuring all requirements are delivered safely, efficiently and in alignment with project schedules, quality standards and operational readiness objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on project requirements and package allocation, responsibilities may include:

• Coordinating FF&E and MM&E activities throughout the project lifecycle, from procurement and delivery through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Developing and maintaining FF&E and MM&E schedules, delivery trackers and status reports to ensure alignment with project milestones and operational readiness requirements.
• Liaising with suppliers, contractors, consultants, equipment vendors, end users and project stakeholders to coordinate FF&E and MM&E requirements and delivery outcomes.
• Monitoring procurement, manufacturing and delivery progress, ensuring orders are tracked and managed through to final installation.
• Supporting procurement activities including supplier engagement, RFQs, purchase orders and scope verification.
• Coordinating delivery sequencing, site access requirements, storage arrangements and logistics activities in line with construction programmes.
• Facilitating stakeholder and supplier meetings, proactively identifying and resolving delivery, installation or supply-related issues.
• Monitoring installation activities, supporting defect management and ensuring FF&E and MM&E packages are completed in accordance with project requirements.
• Assist in coordinating the FF&E and MM&E packages with the related building services, connection points and equipment placement.
• Participate and assist in the final FF&E and MM&E commissioning, operational readiness and Client training by the supplier.
• Help coordinate and collate the various warranty and maintenance manuals and asset documentation for handover to the Client.
• Maintaining accurate FF&E and MM&E registers, procurement trackers, delivery schedules and project records.

What You Will Bring

• Experience coordinating FF&E and/or MM&E delivery within healthcare, commercial construction, hospitality, aged care, infrastructure or similar project environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing procurement, logistics, delivery, installation, commissioning and handover activities.
• Strong stakeholder, supplier, vendor and contractor management skills.
• Experience managing schedules, procurement trackers and delivery programmes.
• Strong organisational, reporting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management, procurement or delivery systems.
• Experience working with healthcare equipment, medical technology or major medical equipment packages, including imaging, pathology, pharmacy, theatre, birthing, neonatal or CSSD environments, will be highly regarded.
• Experience delivering healthcare-related FF&E and MM&E packages, including operational readiness and commissioning activities, will be highly regarded.
