HSE Training Coordinator

Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for an HSE Training Coordinator to join our team on the Project Ceres. Reporting to the HSE Lead, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of HSE training programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements, company standards and best practices.

Your focus will include: 

  • Develop, maintain, and implement the HSE training matrix for all employees and contractors.
  • Identify training needs based on risk assessments, incidents, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external HSE training programs (classroom, on-site, and online).
  • Schedule training sessions and ensure availability of trainers, venues, and materials.
  • Deliver HSE induction and refresher training as required.
  • Support toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Assist subject matter experts in delivering specialized HSE training.
  • Track training effectiveness and participation rates
  • Prepare regular HSE training reports and KPIs for management

 


What you will bring to the team: 

  • Proven experience in an HSSE training role, preferably in an Oil & Gas environment.
  • Strong knowledge of national HSSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
