About Terra Verde:

Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.

The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our construction team. Reporting to the Project Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience and play a key role in delivering a high-profile infrastructure project. This role operates on a rotating shift roster, requiring flexibility to support site operations across varying hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage daily cost reporting.
• Provide on-site engineering support to meet project objectives.
• Monitor construction requirements and take corrective action to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Implement and communicate risk controls for project delivery.
• Conduct safety, environmental, and quality assessments to ensure acceptable standards.
• Report on project performance, compliance, and defects/non-conformance.
• Manage teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
• Knowledge of tunnel underground construction practices.
