A big month at SRL East's Burwood site!

October saw the successful launch of TBM Hacia, while TBM Alice completed its initial drive, travelling 120 metres and installing 67 tunnel rings! 

Significant progress also continued across the civil works scope, with excavation of the Northern Tunnel Access Shaft (NTAS) and station box progressing beyond the halfway mark, and completion of the station box capping beam.

Progress to date:

Webuild, as part of the Terra Verde Joint Venture, is delivering almost 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between the future Box Hill and Glen Waverley stations, along with 39 cross passages, two station boxes, two TBM launch sites, and an intervention and ventilation shaft for the Suburban Rail Loop East Project.
