Supporting Local Schools in STEM - Congratulations to the Year 9 MLC 2025 STEM WA Oceania Championship team, H2Ocean, who secured first place in the Ranger Category with their innovative underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).

Hosted with the Royal Australian Navy on HMAS Stirling, the two-day competition challenged 240 students from 15 schools to push the boundaries of design, problem-solving, and future thinking. H2Ocean showcased exceptional creativity and technical skill, impressing the judges with their trade booth, underwater testing, engineering presentations, and final underwater test.

We were proud to sponsor the team by providing materials for their design, but the credit goes to these students for their innovation, teamwork, and determination.

The team enjoyed an unforgettable tour inside an Australian submarine, exploring the control room, crew quarters, and the complex engineering behind these incredible vessels, a truly inspiring experience - Well done H2Ocean.
