Western Australian children are invited to help name the tower cranes doing the heavy lifting on the New Women and Babies Hospital Project.
A total of 11 tower cranes are currently in operation on the landmark project: eight at the new Women and Babies Hospital site in Murdoch and three at Osborne Park Hospital site in Stirling.
As the project celebrates a year of construction progress, children aged 12 years and younger are being given the opportunity to name the cranes that are helping build new facilities.
To be eligible to win, aspiring creatives have around one month to submit their best crane name idea and explain why they chose it.
Drawings of cranes are also encouraged to be submitted, though judging will be based on the name and explanation alone.
Winning entries will be announced in December.
The competition closes on Friday 13 November. To enter visit the Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery's website here.
The New Women and Babies Hospital Project is being delivered by Webuild. The landmark project will expand services and choice for women, families and newborns across Western Australia.
