Terra Verde is powering ahead - Over the past month, the Terra Verde team delivering the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project has made significant strides.

The Mount Waverley Emergency Support Facility is shaping up, with the team completing the primary 170-tonne steel frame for the acoustic shed. This site will play a key role in housing essential systems for the underground rail line, including a backup control centre and tunnel ventilation infrastructure.

Over at the Glen Waverley site, the crew has opened the new Myrtle Street East carpark, and the begun piling works to support the future station box.

The team has successfully:

  • Removed +1,700 tonnes of material

  • Imported 10,800 tonnes of crushed rock

Fantastic work by the entire team, great momentum on site!

Webuild, as part of Terra Verde Joint Venture, is delivering the excavation of two parallel tunnels for nearly 10 kilometres between the future stations of Box Hill and Glen Waverley, the creation of 39 cross passages between them; two station boxes, two TBM launch sites, and one intervention and ventilation shaft.
