Kick‑start or grow your accounting career on one of Australia’s most iconic renewable energy projects. Future Generation Joint Venture (Webuild, Clough & Lane) is delivering Snowy 2.0 — and we’re looking for a motivated Accountant to join our Finance & Control team.
If you’re a recent graduate or early‑career accountant with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and a desire to learn in a fast‑paced project environment, this is a rare opportunity to build your skills on a nationally significant project.
You’ll support the Chief Accountant and wider AFC team across a broad range of accounting functions, including both junior and developing responsibilities:
Assisting with Accounts Receivable processing and reporting
Supporting Accounts Payable activities and invoice authorisations
Helping prepare monthly financial accounts and management reports
Performing variance analysis on budgets, GL and project cost data
Completing general ledger reconciliations
Supporting fixed asset management and record‑keeping
Assisting in the improvement of internal controls and reporting frameworks
Helping maintain compliance with audit, tax and regulatory requirements
Providing financial support to internal stakeholders across Procurement, Cost Control, Construction and more
Supporting job costing analysis and general accounting tasks
Liaising with external auditors as required
This role is hands‑on, varied and ideal for someone who wants to learn the full breadth of accounting in a major infrastructure environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
CA/CPA (completed or working towards)
Strong Excel skills and high computer literacy
Experience with SAP or another ERP (preferred)
Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience (advantageous)
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Initiative, problem‑solving ability and a willingness to learn
White Card (or willingness to obtain)
