Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for Fitters / Plant Mechanics on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The project is working a 14:7 roster, 12 hour shifts which may include days/nights rotating.

The successful candidate will:

• Mechanical Maintenance of underground machines, including Tunnel Boring Machines and Jumbos.
• Reading and working on Hydraulic Schematic drawings, Pneumatic Systems, Lubrication Systems
• Monitor sensors, grease, oil and other ancillary systems
• Responsible for identifying any and all mechanical safety and technical hazards and notifying the appropriate persons accordingly
• Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks as well as extraordinary maintenance over the above listed equipment.
• Required to familiarize themselves with the approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures and rescue plans
• Liaising with the rest of the Plant & Equipment Team for planning of ongoing and future works
• Provide support to production team, for trouble shooting and preventative maintenance

You must currently hold the following tickets/licences:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Drivers licence – HR preferable
• High risk work licence – Forklift, EWP, DG
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space
• General Construction Induction training (white card)
• Right to work in Australia
• Be able to pass medical and a criminal history check
