Motorway Control Centre gets Green Star rating - Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C is making strong progress on the Motorway Control Centre (MCC) in Manningham, with crews already achieving a five-star Green Star rating for the building.

Webuild, as part of the Spark Joint Venture, is delivering the tunnels as part of North East Link. The project will take 15,000 trucks off local roads every day and reduce travel times by up to 35 minutes for commuters. Once complete, it will be the longest road tunnel in Victoria.

The Spark North East Link Design & Construct Joint Venture is delivering the North East Link Program’s primary package (North East Link Tunnels) for the Victorian Government.

The project includes 6.5km of three-lane twin road tunnels to provide the missing transport link between the M80 and the Eastern Freeway, taking 15,000 trucks off local roads every day and reducing travel times by up to 35 minutes for commuters.
