Operating within a Joint Venture framework for e2x as our Procurement Specialist, you will support the project in the delivery of a construction project and be responsible for procurement related matters. This role will support the Supply Chain Function with procurement of construction materials, equipment and support services for the project.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to work within our Procurement team for this high-profile infrastructure project. This position will be site-based in Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Manage the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned equipment packages and ‘Bulks’ type procurement. This includes pre award, award and post award activities in the contract cycle.
  • Interface with Engineering team members for the timely issue of Scopes of work, MTOs and associated documents for assigned RFQ packages.
  • The application on contemporary collaborative procurement practices and planned negotiation strategies and tactics to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for the project.
  • Maintain continuous communication and work proactively with suppliers to ensure that delivery progress is measured, and project schedules and deliverables are achieved.
  • Ensure that Clough/WeBuild systems and processes are applied while contributing to the review and continuous improvement of the same to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for the Project, JV and Client.
  • Have demonstrable capability, agility and experience working and being successful in a dynamic project environment.

What you will bring to the team:  

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in materials expediting/project procurement/logistics/supply chain.
  • Experience in construction or complex maintenance projects is essential.
  • Experience and demonstrable ability in collaboratively managing internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure project deliverables are achieved to budget and schedule.
  • Experience in the Mining, Engineering or Resources industry or similar will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in identifying process improvements, developing and / or implementing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and large ERP Supply chain systems is required, with SAP experience being highly regarded.
