Big progress at the Dampier Bulk Handling Facility - The latest aerial shots taken by Pilbara Ports of the Dampier Bulk Handling Facility project, highlight the scale of works under way at the Port of Dampier, a major step forward for the region’s export capacity. 

Since piling began in June 2025, the project has reached several major milestones as the dedicated team bring this critical infrastructure to life: 

• More than 50% of piles now installed 

• Beam and plank production well advanced 

When complete, the new wharf will be supported by more than 8,000 tonnes of pile caps, beams, planks and fender blocks. Exciting times ahead as construction continues to build momentum. 

Clough is delivering the design and construction scope for Pilbara Ports new Dampier Bulk Handling Facility at the Port of Dampier, stage one of the overall Dampier Cargo Wharf Projects, which will deliver a multi-user facility that expands the service capability of the Port of Dampier.
