Building a faster, more connected transport network! Construction is gaining momentum on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East, with significant progress being made at the Burwood site as the team prepares for tunnelling to commence in the coming months.

Burwood progress snapshot:
▪️ ~7,500m³ of concrete placed
▪️ ~39,000 tonnes of crushed rock installed
▪️ 1,030 tonnes of reinforcing steel installed
▪️ ~152,000 tonnes of spoil excavated
▪️ Shaft piling complete, including 310 soft piles and 325 hard piles
▪️ Spoil shed cladding complete and lighting energised
▪️ Surface conveyor installation complete

Webuild, as part of the Terra Verde Joint Venture, is delivering almost 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between the future Box Hill and Glen Waverley stations, along with 39 cross passages, two station boxes, two TBM launch sites, and an intervention and ventilation shaft for the Suburban Rail Loop East Project.
