Bringing engineering to life at the World Science Festival Queensland in Townsville - we had an incredible time connecting with students, families and the wider community across the festival’s student and community days, with more than 1,000 people attending the event.

At the Webuild Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) train activation, visitors explored the science behind Maglev technology and discovered how high-speed rail is shaping the future of transport. Already transforming travel in countries including China, Japan and South Korea, Maglev technology offers an exciting glimpse into the future of sustainable mobility.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn, ask questions and experience the possibilities of engineering and innovation firsthand.
