Scope of work

Clough, in joint venture with BAM, completed the Marine Installation Services contract as part of the Karratha Gas Plant Life Extension (KLE) Integrated Marine Lift Campaign.

The project involved project management and installation engineering works associated with replacing existing equipment on two berths, including LNG and LPG marine loading arms, gangways and dolphin fenders, and provision of marine equipment and resources to undertake the site works.

This included a marine lift campaign to support refurbishment of Berth 1 (LPG) and 3 (LNG / Condensate) of the export jetties at the Karratha Gas Plant, the removal and replacement of near life end equipment.

This project extended the life and enhanced the export ability of the Karratha Gas Plant.

KLE was the first Clough project to achieve status of zero harm - zero recordable inccidents and zero environmental impacts. As a result, the project was awarded Woodside's KLE Safety Culture Cup Award in August 2016.
