The Clough Foundation aims to provide support to organisations that deliver sustainable benefits to the local communities in which Clough operates, while reflecting Clough’s principles. Community Partners are selected based on their alignment to Clough’s five-pillar Corporate Social Responsibility program. The five pillars are: Sustainability, Indigenous Engagement, Diversity, Healthy Communities, and Children & Youth.

Since the beginning of our reconciliation journey, Clough has embedded more than 60 actions and initiatives to achieve its vision for reconciliation, which is to “improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples by providing employment, education, and business opportunities and to create a workplace that understands and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.”

In 2022, Clough's second Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan was endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

The STEM @ Clough Program aims to spark the curiosity of future talent by engaging with primary and high school students, teachers and university students. We deliver a range of initiatives and opportunities to increase awareness about the endless possibilities a career in engineering and construction can create.

Clough was a proud sponsor of Solaris Cancer Care's Boards up for Cancer event. Surfboards were placed end to end from Trigg to Scarborough, to raise money for Solaris Cancer Care, which provides free support to patients and their families who are living with cancer. The event raised $40,000 for Solaris Cancer Care with 874 boards laid end-to-end on the coastline – creating a new world record! 

Solaris' services include counselling, various therapies, education, wellness activities, support groups, courses, and workshops.

Our Lombrum Infrastructure Project team in Papua New Guinea, is an active participant in their local community. The project team was invited to attend a ceremony at the Papitalai Secondary School in Manus for the official opening of its three new kit houses. Clough delivered two truckloads of gravel to assist with refurbishing the school yard.

Clough is a proud fundraising partner for Purple Bra Day, supporting Breast Cancer Care WA. 

Since 2000, Breast Cancer Care WA has provided specialist breast care nursing, counselling, and financial support to women and men affected by breast cancer, as well as their partners and families, throughout the WA community.
