Great opportunity for experienced and qualified Advanced Riggers / Doggers to work offshore in Timor Leste on our Bayu Undan site.

This role is to ensure all rigging activities are completed as per the work pack requirements in a safe competent manner.

Casual basis on 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation with flexibility for overlap work. Potential early mobilisation to cover offshore training competencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rigging and slinging equipment applications does not exceed the manufacturers safe working load recommendations
• Ensure that the rigging and lifting equipment intended for us is inspected before use, holds company’s inspection criteria, current manufacturers tagging and is fit for purpose
• Maintain a high standard in line with company offshore procedures
• Work in hazardous and/or contaminated areas under controlled ‘Permit to Work’ regulations
• Identify conflicting work between work groups where hazardous may occur
• Always comply with the safe systems of work as identified in risk assessments and procedures
• Report all incidents or hazards which have the potential to adversely affect the health and safety of others or the environment.

Qualifications and skills

• Certificate in Rigging (advanced)
• Dogging Certificate
• High risk work license
• Working safely at heights
• Current TBOSIET
• Verfication of competenc in Dogging
• Verification of competency in Advanced Rigging
• Minimum 5 years work experience in Oil & Gas, construction and/or maintenance industry

Desirable

• Enter and work in confined space
• Operate Breathing Apparatus
• Provide First Aid
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
