Project Ceres (Perdaman)

 

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

 

Your role will include:

 

  • Construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete pours (e.g., bases, footings, and foundations).
  • Build and install temporary structures, scaffolding, and supports for SMP works.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble timber or metal structures with precision.
  • Work alongside boilermakers, riggers, and other trades to support SMP installation and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist in lifting and positioning heavy materials using appropriate equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

 

What you will bring to the team/Qualifications you will bring to the team:

 

  • Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification
  • Whit Cared (Construction Card)
  • Minimum 5 year experience in industrial or SMP construction environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Proficiency in using hands tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Understanding of safety procedure in high-risk work environments
  • Work Safely at Heights - mandatory 
  • Confined Space Entry - mandatory
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen 
  • Full Working Rights in Australia
