Project Ceres (Perdaman)

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-precision welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, special alloys, and other materials.
  • Use advanced welding techniques (TIG, MIG, FCAW, SMAW) in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings, welding schematics, and specifications.
  • Visually and instrumentally inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain workplace safety and comply with company and industry regulations.
  • Document welding activities and complete technical reports.

What will you bring to the team:

  • Certification as a Special Class Welder (e.g., ASME, ISO, AWS).
  • Proven experience in complex welding tasks within industrial settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of materials and metallurgical properties.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
  • Willingness to work shifts and in high-intensity environments.
  • White Card (Construction Induction).
  • Full Working Rights in Australia.
