Celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD)! To recognise IWD, our teams across the country came together to spark meaningful conversions and transform gender equality commitments into tangible change within the construction industry. 

Key highlights included: 

• Webuild sponsoring the NAWIC IWD event in Melbourne where we heard from inspiring women and leaders in the construction industry including our very own Jemma Stewart EVP Contract Management and Sally Law Commercial Director. 

• A webinar by Gabrielle Trainor AO, who shared insights from more than three decades of leadership across infrastructure, governance and the construction sector.

• Attending AIM WA’s IWD event which explored equity, empowerment and mental wellness - turning shared intention into meaningful action across the Western Australian community. 

• Cookies from Worthy Cause, a charity that empowers individuals overcoming hardships, offering them employment, support and training.

International Women’s Day is a powerful celebration of the vast achievements of women in shaping political, economic, and cultural landscapes, but also an important reminder of the work that still needs to be done to accelerate gender equality for all women and girls.
