Our Operations

With a project delivery service spanning over 100 years, Clough has worked on some of the world’s largest and most technically and logistically challenging projects in the energy, resources and infrastructure industries.

AUSTRALIA

Founded in Perth, Western Australia in 1919, Clough’s long and rich history can be traced across the state. From the construction of Perth’s first high rise in 1955, the Narrows Bridge in 1957, the Barrow Island Oilfield development in 1965, Stirling Bridge in 1972, the Graham Farmer Tunnel in 1996, not to mention its work on the across minerals, iron ore and LNG industries, Clough has helped shape the face of modern Western Australia.

In the 1970s, Clough expanded its reach into Queensland where it quickly built its status and capabilities as a delivery centre for Australia’s east coast engineering and construction industries, as well as opening the business' doors to Papua New Guinea, where Clough has a long-standing reputation as a trusted contractor.

Clough’s east coast operations have since also expanded with a growing presence in New South Wales, where we are currently delivering some of the company’s largest projects to-date.

To this day, the company’s head office remains in Perth, Western Australia, with offices also in Queensland, and New South Wales, and projects in operation across a diverse range of metropolitan, regional, and remote locations nation-wide. Clough can efficiently mobilise professional engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance teams to deliver projects Australia-wide.

ASIA PACIFIC

Clough has been working in Asia since the early 1970s and has delivered major engineering and construction projects across Indonesia, Mongolia, Thailand, Vietnam, China and India as well as integrated commissioning and completions services to the world’s largest fabrication yards in Korea and China.

Clough has been delivering energy and resources projects in Papua New Guinea (PNG) since 1983. Over this time, we have developed a deep understanding of the unique requirements of delivering projects in PNG, utilising disciplined processes, tailored project management systems, and an understanding of the PNG culture. With a comprehensive range of engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance services, we achieve client outcomes and deliver sustainable benefits to local PNG communities.
