Celebrating Refugee Week - This week marks Australia’s annual Refugee Week, a time to raise awareness about the experiences of refugees, and celebrate the incredible contributions they make to our communities.

Through our long-standing partnership with CareerSeekers, we’ve seen just how powerful the right opportunities can be. By supporting people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds to build meaningful, long-term careers, the program helps break down barriers to employment while strengthening a more inclusive and diverse workforce, something we’re proud to champion.

To date, we’ve supported 14 Career Seekers placements, with 89% of eligible participants transitioning into ongoing roles, including Mohamad Rihawi (pictured), a Site Engineer with our Parklife Metro team on the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport (SSTOM) project. 

Behind each placement is someone rebuilding their career, growing in confidence, and bringing new skills and perspectives to our industry, a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we invest in people.
