Congratulations Jessamine Welsh on being named a finalist in the Individual Contribution to a Sustainable Future category at the 2026 ISC Awards!
Presented by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) at ISC Connect 2026, the award recognises individuals making an outstanding contribution to advancing sustainability across the infrastructure sector.
Through her work on the North East Link Project, Jess has driven system-level change that extends far beyond a single project. Her contributions include helping achieve Australia's first PAS 2080 certification, delivering one of the most complex ISC v2.1 Design ratings completed to date, and pioneering new approaches to carbon management, inclusive procurement and industry benchmarking.
Jess also co-developed a universal carbon metric that is helping shape national practice and supported transformative social and economic outcomes through initiatives such as an Indigenous-owned renewable energy partnership.
Her leadership, collaboration and commitment to raising standards are helping shape the future of sustainable infrastructure across Australia.
Congratulation to Jess on this well-deserved recognition.
