With experience delivering major tunnelling projects across the UK and Australia, Ed is passionate about using engineering innovation to improve safety and efficiency. That commitment was recently recognised with the Individual Safety Achievement – East award at our recent Safety Excellence Forum.
 
At Spark North East Link, Ed led the development of an automated scabbling gantry, removing workers from high-risk manual tunnelling activities and demonstrating how innovative engineering can eliminate risk at its source. Learn more about the Scabbling Gantry here.
