Piling works pass the halfway mark! Webuild is making huge construction progress on the New Women and Babies Hospital Project, with piling works at the Osborne Park Hospital site now passed the halfway mark. 

Ranging in depth from 12 to 22 metres, these piles will form the foundations of the new six-storey main clinical building and four-storey support services building.

The facilities will be 100 per cent electric with the main clinical set to include:

• Expanded women and newborn inpatient facilities

• A mother baby unit to support the mental health of expectant and new mothers 

• A family birth centre 

• New obstetrics theatres 

• Pharmacy 

• Outpatient clinics

A four-storey support services building will house a brand-new kitchen, pathology and sterilisation service, which will benefit the entire hospital. 

Webuild is proud to be delivering the design and construction contract for the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia, a facility that will serve the WA community for generations to come.
