50 Years of Deadly: Reflecting, Learning and Celebrating on NEL - Webuild, as part of Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C, was proud to celebrate NAIDOC Week across the project, celebrating the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

To mark the occasion, First Nations Support Officer Rose Kirby hosted a panel featuring Spark employees and partners, who shared their personal experiences and the positive impact initiatives such as the Willan Program, traineeships and cadetships have had on their careers and communities.

Our team also rolled up their sleeves with SecondBite | FareShare in Abbotsford, supporting the Meals for the Mob initiative. Together, volunteers helped prepare and package an incredible 1,853 meals, which are now making their way to individuals and families in need.

Guided by our Reconciliation Action Plan, we are committed to strengthening relationships, creating opportunities and supporting meaningful participation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the nation-building projects we deliver.
