Supplier Spotlight: Tonnage!
We’re proud to work with innovative local suppliers who are delivering real value on the ground. At Project Ceres, Saipem Clough Joint Venture (SCJV) is working with local business Tonnage, who are supplying custom-designed heavy lift stools to the project.

These products have accelerated the lift schedule, improved efficiency, and provided greater flexibility in planning and executing complex lifts. Tonnage has also delivered custom spreader bar storage racks that have transformed rigging operations. By allowing entire, complex rigging assemblies to be pre-loaded and transported directly to the crane in a single move, the racks have eliminated the need for multiple trips. This has significantly reduced both time and labour requirements while improving overall safety and productivity.

This collaboration highlights the value of strong partnerships with local suppliers. Through innovative design and a practical approach, Tonnage is helping Project Ceres work safer, faster, and more efficiently, a clear demonstration of how local capability can drive industry-wide improvements.

Saipem Clough Joint Venture is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
