Webuild is proud to launch its fourth Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), reaffirming our commitment to creating long-term opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, businesses and communities across Australia.
Explore our new Innovate RAP here.
Our 2026-2028 Innovate RAP builds on the progress we have achieved through previous RAPs and outlines the actions we will take to advance reconciliation across our operations, projects and supply chain.
At the heart of our new Innovate RAP is our vision for reconciliation:
To deliver consistent, long-term positive impact by leveraging our scale and influence to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and businesses to participate, grow and thrive through meaningful partnerships.
Marco Assorati, Senior Executive Vice President Operations Oceania, Webuild, said the new Innovate RAP reflects Webuild’s ongoing commitment to ensuring reconciliation is embedded in the way it delivers projects and engages with communities across Australia.
"As we continue delivering some of the nation’s most significant infrastructure projects, we recognise the important role we have in creating opportunities that extend well beyond construction.
"Reconciliation is a shared responsibility. Through our actions, partnerships and everyday decisions, we have the opportunity to create lasting positive outcomes for communities and contribute to a more inclusive engineering and construction industry."
Over the next two years, we will continue to:
- Increase understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives through education and cultural learning opportunities across the business.
-
Create meaningful employment pathways through apprenticeships, traineeships, career development and leadership opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
-
Support education initiatives and community programs, with a particular focus on communities located near the company's projects.
-
Strengthen partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, increasing participation across its national supply chain.
-
Continue embedding reconciliation across the organisation by ensuring policies, practices and decision-making support equity, inclusion and cultural safety.
Our new Innovate RAP also celebrates the progress already achieved through Webuild's reconciliation journey, including:

The 2026-2028 Innovate RAP features an original artwork by Aboriginal artist Madeleine Edwards, titled Building Reconciliation Together.
The artwork celebrates the strength and possibilities that emerge when people come together with a shared purpose. It reflects the journey of Webuild, Clough and e2o since 2023, recognising the organisations joining to create a shared foundation built on care, collaboration and respect.
At its heart, the artwork is about connection. It honours the relationships that make meaningful reconciliation possible between employees, project partners, suppliers, subcontractors and the communities in which Webuild operates. It reflects the importance of listening, sharing knowledge, building trust and walking together towards a shared future.
The launch of the 2026-2028 Innovate RAP marks the next chapter in Webuild's reconciliation journey, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering lasting social, economic and cultural outcomes alongside the infrastructure it builds across Australia.
