In 2026, Webuild hosted its inaugural Safety Excellence Forum in Australia, bringing project leaders and delivery teams together to strengthen leadership capability and reinforce consistent safety behaviours across our operations.
Guided by the principle: See More. Say More. Solve More. the forum created a platform to share insights, strengthen collaboration and reinforce practical actions that support safer outcomes across our projects.

Employee Assistance
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free, professional and confidential counselling services to all employees and their immediate family member. Some of the areas the support service can help with include: relationship or family issues, anxiety and depression, work related stress, conflict at work, alcohol and drug use, grief, trauma and career decisions.
MATES' Fly the Flag Day
Through our partnership with MATES in Construction, we are proud supporters of Fly the Flag Day – a day to celebrate the contribution the construction industry makes towards suicide prevention and improving mental health. Each year, our teams across Australia fly their MATES flags to raise awareness for mental health, and suicide prevention.
Clough Cup Fundraiser
The Clough Cup, a basketball competition between colleagues, was initiated in 2022 to support MATES in Construction and their Dry Spell for MATES campaign. The initiative aimed to raise funds for mental health and suicide prevention. The event saw an enthusiastic participation from team members across the business, resulting in a successful maiden season. The Clough Cup returned in 2023 with even more participation and a stronger fundraising effort.
Mo-ing for Movember
Each year our team of dedicated Mo-Bros, Mo-Sisters and mo-your-own-way’ers go the extra mile to raise much needs funds for Movember! Our 2023 team raised over $5K!
Movember raises money to fund important research into men’s health, mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer, and mental health related illnesses.
Celebrating R U OK Day
Clough is committed to supporting the mental wellbeing of all our people, and one way we do this is by celebrating R U OK? Day. This annual event encourages people to check in on their friends, family, and colleagues and ask the question, "Are you okay?"
By participating in R U OK Day, we hope to promote a workplace culture that prioritises mental wellbeing, reduces the stigma surrounding mental health, and encourages open and supportive communication.

Supporting the wellbeing of our people is a key priority at Clough, and we want to raise awareness about the importance of looking after your own mental health. For Mental Health Week, we asked our team members why mental health is important and what they do to improve their wellbeing.
Supporting Men's Health
On Men’s Health Day, we acknowledged the unique health challenges that men face and encouraged open discussions about mental health, physical fitness, and work-life balance. We provide our people with resources and support for men's health issues, including prostate cancer, heart disease, and mental health. Through our support for these important days, we strive to create a workplace that values and prioritises the health and wellbeing of all our employees.
