We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join the Woodman Point Team in Perth! In this role, you will effectively provide administrative support to the Project commercial team in its delivery obligations, whilst taking ownership of allocated contracts and ensuring prompt and accurate data input to corporate systems to enable on time payments in accordance with SOPA legislation, and provision of accurate up to date cost control and periodic reporting.

 

Clough, as part of an alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the Woodman Point Water Treatment Facility Upgrade, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

Your focus will include:

 

  • Assist with preparation of all claims and variations for the adjustment of compensation and time under the head contract and assigned subcontracts.
  • Partner with project team to review and certify subcontractor’s progress payment claims in accordance with the timeframes included in the relevant subcontract and legislation.
  • Provide commercial support to project team managing the assigned subcontracts.
  • Provide input to cost control and forecasting of final cost at completion position for assigned subcontracts.
  • Assist with the management and resolution of all claims with subcontractors / suppliers in accordance with Contract Formation and Administration Operating Standards.
  • Participate in progress meetings with assigned subcontractors to ensure all outstanding commercial and contract matters are dealt with in accordance with the time frames prescribed in the subcontract.

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management and economics (CM&E) preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial or contracts administrator on infrastructure, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the management of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Associated experience in the use of Corporate Management software packages, preferably SAP, NPP and Vision
