We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Advisor to join the Perth Team in! In this role, you will effectively assist site teams in the compilation and management of Green Star and other sustainability initiatives while also assisting in the development of corporate sustainability initiatives.

 

 

Perth Women and Babies Hospital

 

WeBuild is delivering the design and construction of the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. This landmark project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families, delivering lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia.

Your focus will include:

 

  • Represent the project within sustainability related forums and working groups and maintain a string industry presence.  
  • Assist the team via review of Green Star, NABERS, Well and other sustainability initiatives,and contribute to written tender submissions relevant to sustainability. 
  • Advise the tender team on specific risks and opportunities of proposed sustainability initiatives. 
  • Establish reporting protocols and management procedures to ensure project and company sustainability obligations are met.  
  • Assist site teams in the review, compilation and management of Green Star and other sustainability initiatives, including advice in relation to specific technical requirements of deliverables. 

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • GSAP (Green Star Accredited Professional) 
  • NABERS Certified Assessor (desirable) 
  • Tertiary Degree - Engineering, Environmental Science or Sustainability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects is highly regarded
