We have an exciting opportunity for a Enterprise Data and BI Specialist to join the Technology Team in Perth! In this role, you will effectively work with Data Team to build, test and deploy data integration, ingestions, transformation to support deliver business workflow and reporting outcomes. Your focus will include:

 

  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Fivetran for ingestion and Informatica for transformation
  • Automate ingestion from APIs, databases, and file systems into Snowflake using Informatica Cloud Services (CDI, CAI, CMI)
  • Design and implement data models (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, SCD Type-2)
  • Apply metadata-driven design principles to standardize ingestion and transformation logic
  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • 3–7 years of experience in ETL/ELT development coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake)
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, Fivetran, and Informatica advantageous
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data governance, and security policies
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jira)
  • Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
  • Knowledge of cloud applications integration strategies
  • Exposure to legacy system migration and cloud and on-premises data sources
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
