Building Supervisor

Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

This role is on a 19:9 rotation to our Perdaman project in Karratha, WA.

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for Building Supervisor to join our site-based team on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Civil Construction Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing activities on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and labour teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project plans and specification, particularly focused on buildings/structures.
  • Manage and lead a team of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on project status to upper management.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality and adherence to design specifications.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, facilitating

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, a related field, or proven experience as a Buildings/Civil Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site.
