Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a construction management role, with a focus on complex construction.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.

- C Class driver’s licence
Experience: - Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Extensive experience in tunnelling projects or underground construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: - Assist the Underground Construction Manager overseeing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and timeline standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate complex construction schedules, resources, and activities specific to the Surge Shaft.
- Ensure that construction activities within the shaft comply with safety regulations and industry standards, with a heightened focus on powerhouse facilities.
- Provide dedicated leadership and guidance to construction teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes, ensuring construction meets the specific requirements of powerhouse facilities.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Address and resolve construction-related conflicts or issues that may arise during project execution.
- Assist in monitoring construction budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in construction operations.
