Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project!  

 

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the ‘Project CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for a Timekeeper to join our site-based (Karratha) team on Project Ceres. This position is suited towards someone with experience in administration, and will be responsible for
ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant recording of all labor hours and site attendance.

Responsibilities

 

  • Generate a daily Synchro Perform exemption report to identify workers rostered to site who have not swiped on or off.
    • Cross-reference these records with RFID and INX data to determine everyone’s last known activity.
    • Escalate any anomalies immediately to supervision and HSE for welfare checks.
  • Coordinate with HR and Payroll departments to ensure timely submission of approved hours.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies related to time entries, overtime, shift differentials, and allowances.
  • Maintain audit-ready timekeeping records in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
  • Liaise with construction supervisors, subcontractor timekeepers, and project controls teams to clarify labor-hour data.
  • Report any anomalies, manpower shortages, or attendance issues to site management.
  • Support onboarding of new personnel by explaining timekeeping procedures and system usage.

Key Requirements

 

  • Ability to work a 19:9 rotation to site.   
  • Strong administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Previous experience in a timekeeper or administrative role highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills.
