Over the last month, the Terra Verde team made significant progress at the Mount Waverley and Glen Waverley sites, as construction continues on the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East project.

Mount Waverley
▪️ The shaft reached 6.7 metres below the capping beam 
▪️ Second row of ground anchors installed
▪️ Acoustic shed frame installation complete, including 170 tonnes of steel
▪️ Acoustic shed cladding and roof complete

Glen Waverley
▪️ 204 of 268 piles now complete
▪️ 50% RSL demolition complete
▪️ 43,000 tonnes material removed to date
▪️ 20,000 tonnes crushed rock imported to date

Alongside piling and excavation, capping beam construction and the permanent water treatment plant are also progressing at Glen Waverley.

Webuild, as part of the Terra Verde Joint Venture, is delivering almost 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between the future Box Hill and Glen Waverley stations, along with 39 cross passages, two station boxes, two TBM launch sites, and an intervention and ventilation shaft for the Suburban Rail Loop East Project.
