This week is Wear It Purple Day, a day to celebrate and show support for LGBTQIA+ young people. This year’s theme, Colours of Courage, reminds us that courage is not only found in defining moments, but also in the everyday choices to live authentically and foster understanding, acceptance and celebration.
 
At Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C, that is reflected in becoming the first construction project in Australia to introduce purple PPE. While a small change, it sends a powerful message that everyone deserves to feel respected, valued and included. Learn more about the initiative here.
 
This initiative also saw Spark recognised as a finalist in the Pride in Diversity Innovation Award. Webuild, as part of the Spark Joint Venture, is committed to creating workplaces where everyone feels safe, respected and included.
