A day of fun, food and sunshine!
More than 2,000 people joined the Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C team at the Veneto Club in Bulleen to celebrate Family Day, bringing together employees, family members and friends for a fantastic day of activities and entertainment.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was the tunnel bus tours, which gave guests a unique opportunity to look inside the North East Link tunnels. Visitors had the chance to walk through one of the cross passages and capture some memorable photos from inside this major piece of infrastructure.
Webuild, as part of the Spark Joint Venture, is delivering the tunnels as part of North East Link. The project will take up to15,000 trucks off local roads every day and reduce travel times by up to 35 minutes for commuters. Once complete, it will be the longest road tunnel in Victoria.
