Bringing engineering to life - we had an incredible time at World Science Festival Queensland’s Townsville student and community days.

This year’s program brought robotics, aerospace, and engineering to life with the theme ' Robots and Rocketry'. We were thrilled to engage with so many curious minds at the Webuild Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) train activation. Our visitors explored the science behind Maglev technology, and the future of high-speed transport. Maglev allows for a faster, smoother, and more energy-efficient ride and it’s already transforming travel in Shanghai, Japan, and South Korea. 

We were excited to share insights into Webuild’s own cutting-edge work on Hyper Transfer. Developed in joint venture with Leonardo and HyperloopTT, this groundbreaking prototype is set to bring this revolutionary transport system to life in Italy.
