Foundation piling works complete - Webuild has achieved a significant construction milestone on the new Women and Babies Hospital project, with foundation piling works now complete. This marks an important step forward in delivering this major health infrastructure project for Western Australia.

More than 480 piles have been completed to form the foundation of the new hospital building and support tower cranes during construction.

The large diameter 1200mm continuous flight auger piles are at depths of more than 25 metres, amassing to more than 12,000 cubic metres of concrete and approximately 3500 tonnes of steel reinforcement!
