Building strong foundations at the Dampier Bulk Handling Facility - exciting progress is being made on site, with installation of the pre-cast concrete elements now under way.
These concrete pieces include the pile caps, beams, planks, and fender blocks that will create the backbone of the new wharf.
We’re proud to be working with local Karratha business Globe Construction Group & Civil Contractors to deliver 278 pre-cast components, weighing more than 8,000 tonnes in total!
With pile cap production complete and installation underway, Globe is now focused on producing the beams and planks, ready for installation in the coming months.
