Clough is currently undertaking the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) scope of the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia. 

The aim of the Stage 2 Development is to contribute to the stable supply of LNG to meet increasing global demand, and to continue supplying domestic gas for use by Western Australian manufacturers and consumers. It will also contribute to a low-carbon society by promoting fuel conversion to gas in the medium term.

The project includes a 250TJ/day gas processing plant and associated gas gathering pipelines spread across an area with an approximate radius of 10 kilometres. The project will convey gas via the nearby Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.

The Waitsia Gas Field is ranked one of the largest gas fields ever discovered onshore in Australia. The project has brought significant economic benefits to the Mid-West region during its construction, which is expected to continue during the operating phases.
