We are looking for experienced, or people with relevant skills to be trained as, Tunnel Grout Workers who have ideally had exposure to TBM or other method tunnelling for the Snowy 2.0 project.

The successful candidate will: 

• Operation of equipment for the grouting of annular gap behind segmental tunnel lining. Involving the operation and placement of injection pipes/lines and pumps
• Proper alignment of lines and pumps during operation
• Handling of supply of specialize grouting material
• Operation, daily maintenance and routine repairs of Grouting equipment
• Ensure timely progress of work according to schedule and plans
• Responsible for identifying any and all safety hazards and notifying the appropriate persons accordingly
• Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Required to familiarize themselves with the approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures and rescue plans

We are seeking a candidate with the following profile:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience operating Grout systems for underground Tunnelling Projects
• Knowledgeable working of lines and pumps and is able to trouble-shoot and advise on any problems that may be encountered
• Exposure operating hydraulic grout injection equipment
• Ideally experienced erecting large precast tunnel concrete segments
• High Risk Card - Dogging or Rigging ticket is essential
• Understanding of specialised tunnelling equipment operation
• Ability to work as part of a tunnelling team
• Ability to work closely with Safety Department to maintain project safety standards
• Construction White Card
• Health and Safety focused
