Asset Maintenance and Compliance Coordinator

About Terra Verde:

 

 

Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.

 

 

The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.

 

 

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

 

 

This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.

 

 

About the Role:

 

 

The Asset Maintenance and Compliance Coordinator will join the Plant & Equipment team and play a key role in coordinating maintenance, compliance and spare parts activities across a major infrastructure project. You will support the safe, compliant and reliable operation of plant and equipment, including TBMs, auxiliary plants, conveyors, batching or treatment plants, lifting systems and mobile equipment.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Coordinate preventive, corrective and statutory maintenance across plant and equipment
  • Support maintenance schedules, service plans and inspection programs
  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and OEMs to plan works and minimise downtime
  • Monitor maintenance records, work orders and close‑out actions
  • Ensure plant compliance with project standards, OEM requirements and Australian legislation
  • Track inspections, certifications and compliance documentation
  • Support spare parts planning, critical spares and stock coordination
  • Maintain accurate data in CMMS / EAM systems and prepare reports and KPIs

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

 

  • Degree, diploma or trade‑based background in Mechanical, Asset or Maintenance Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance, asset or plant coordination roles
  • Experience in construction, tunnelling, infrastructure, mining or heavy industry environments
  • Strong understanding of plant compliance and maintenance processes
  • Experience using CMMS / EAM systems
  • Proactive, detail‑focused and able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced site environment

 

 

Skills and Attributes:

 

 

  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Sound technical knowledge of maintenance planning and asset reliability
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
  • High attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in PowerBI and other data analysis tools.
  • Safety‑focused with strong communication skills
