About the Project:
Parklife Metro JV is leading the delivery of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, a landmark transport initiative that will link St Marys to Bradfield and seamlessly connect with the new Western Sydney Airport.
This visionary project driven by a joint venture between Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild includes the construction of six new stations, 12 state-of-the-art metro trains, advanced rail systems, and a modern stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.
As the largest public-private partnership (PPP) ever awarded in New South Wales, this $5 billion project is set to redefine the future of Greater Western Sydney by enhancing connectivity and driving economic growth. Benefits:
Ensures implementation of project quality plan.
Ensures non-conformances are recorded and corrective actions initiated as soon as practically possible.
Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary to support responsible decisions and courses of action.
Adhere to safety plan for project and communicates it to project team members including suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensures compliance with all relevant HSE policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
Continually assesses the project for high risk activities and hazards and in conjunction with appropriate personnel recommends measures to control those hazards and associated risks.
Demonstrates an understanding of the process of incident prevention and incident reporting.
Assists with the expeditious resolution of safety issues as directed by the Senior Project Engineer & Site Supervisor.
Develop and monitor implementation of construction methods including audits.
Accountable for documentation flow between Engineers, Site Supervisors, Consultants, Subcontractors and the Project ensuring that all parties are working from current documentation.
